Welcome to Centre Stage Theatre Academy and Agency. We are the leading theatre company Medway and the surrounding areas have to offer and aim to provide expert classes in all disciplines of Dance, Drama and Singing and will teach the techniques and skills to put on showcases of an exceptional standard that all students will be proud of.

Hello and welcome to Centre Stage, founded in 2010, our aim was and is to provide the highest level of training to all our students at an affordable price.

Learn From Our Teachers

Students at Centre Stage will get the opportunity to learn from our teachers – who had trained at similar establishments and have gone on to perform professionally on stage, in television, film and radio. We want our students to learn and grow with us, eventually moving onto the best theatre schools and colleges to continue their studies and become professionals themselves – if this is something they desire.

We provide expert classes in Dance, Drama and Singing and will teach the techniques and skills to put on showcases of an exceptional standard that all the students will be proud of.

Students perform every term with Centre Stage, we produce four full-scale productions a year in a professional theatre because we know the best place for our students to learn about being on the stage is on the stage. It’s hard work for everyone involved, but we come together as one big family and pride ourselves on the standard of our productions.

One-To-One Sessions

Not just teaching, INSPIRING! Our staff are dedicated professionals still working in the performing industry, they lead by example in the classroom and on the stage! Did you know as well as group sessions Centre Stage is now offering One-To-One private session in Acting, Dancing and Singing?

You can work with professional performers and teachers in these sessions designed to improve your technique, develop new skills and of course boost your confidence, ready for when we are back to classes, shows and much more!

4 Groups Available

Our Medway Academy opened in November 2013 and we currently have 4 groups – Little Ones, Kids, Juniors and Seniors.

Centre Stage firmly believes that all children should be given access to Performing Arts and we are proud to provide FREE workshops to all schools within these areas. The Highest Level of Training

We aim to provide the highest level of training for all our students. This involves hard work, discipline and a 110% work ethic from everyone involved. However, being part of our academy will be the most fun and rewarding experience you’ll ever have.

Improvisation lays down the key components to all acting, it gives students the opportunity to create stories and characters of their own and teaches them how to sustain these ideas through their performances. Throughout the term students will take on a number of different challenges whilst devising and producing their own short stories, this class is aimed at raising confidence whilst improving technique, stage awareness, and character development

Script Work gives the students the opportunity to discover different styles and genres of scripts, from soap to sitcom students will work on television scripts and screenplays. They will also study classical and modern playwrights such as Harold Pinter and Shakespeare. The aim is to build the students’ knowledge/understanding of script interpretation and character development. This class is key to improving audition technique

Centre Stage has six great locations across Kent. Our first location in 2010 was Bromley, followed by The Woodville, Gravesend in 2010, Bexleyheath in 2012, and Medway in 2013 the latest in Dartford with Sevenoaks/Westerham coming very soon!!
