Centre Stage is leading the way in independent performing arts training for children and young people. Centre Stage has one aim – to provide as many young people with the chance to express themselves, a creative outlet where they can explore, experiment, grow and learn together. You might want to be a professional when you grow up, you might just want to make new friends, whatever you want Centre Stage is the place to discover who you are!

• Classes are on Thursdays
• Main Academy – 5:30-8:30pm three classes – £21.00
• Little Ones Academy – 5:30-7:00pm, one 90 minutes class – £9.00
• We offer a sibling discount of 15%
• Fees are payable termly, instalment options are available.
• Our terms run alongside the school term dates and are usually 10-13 weeks long.

Centre Stage caters for students who want to have fun and make new friends and for those who wish to develop their skills into a professional career. When becoming a performer, you will come up against many challenges, but our aim is to provide a safe environment where we, as professionals, can nurture the student and their talent.

We want our students to learn and grow with us. This involves hard work, discipline and a 110% work ethic from everyone involved. However, being part of our academy will be the most fun and rewarding experience your child will ever have.

The Ideal Combination

Centre Stage aims to provide expert classes in all disciplines of Dance, Drama and Singing and will teach the techniques and skills to put on showcases of an exceptional standard that all students will be proud of.

All of our teachers at Centre Stage are young experienced professionals with strong knowledge in their field of teaching, and all members of staff are CRB/DBS checked to work alongside children.

Here at Centre Stage, we believe being on stage is the best way for our students to learn, grow, and achieve confidence as performers. That is why we aim for our students to take part in two large scale productions per year, and a few smaller ones throughout. All students from as young as 4 are involved in our productions!

Dance, Drama and Singing

Each Little One’s Class ranges from 75 – 90 minute and students learn skills in Dance, Drama and Singing from musical theatre to street dance.

Students in our Little One’s Academy are invited to perform in an annual Summer Show at The Woodville Theatre and they all absolutely love getting up on stage.

Little One’s Academy is great for building children’s confidence, increasing social skills, boosting fitness all whilst having the most amount of fun!

When students are between the ages of 7 and 8 they are invited to move up into our Main Academy. We are proud to say that lots of students successfully transition into Main Academy and continue classes with us until they are eighteen. All classes run weekly during term time at all four of our academies.

Centre Stage has six great locations across Kent. Our first location in 2010 was Bromley, followed by The Woodville, Gravesend in 2010, Bexleyheath in 2012, and Medway in 2013 the latest in Dartford with Sevenoaks/Westerham now open!!

One-To-One Sessions

Did you know as well as group sessions Centre Stage is now offering One-To-One private session in Acting, Dancing and Singing?

You can work with professional performers and teachers in these sessions designed to improve your technique, develop new skills and of course boost your confidence, ready for when we are back to classes, shows and much more!
