Centre Stage Theatre Academy was founded by professional actor Frankie Fitzgerald (Eastenders, Dream Team) and Lydia Fitzgerald in April 2010.
All of our teachers at Centre Stage are young experienced professionals with strong knowledge in their field of teaching, and all members of staff are CRB/DBS checked to work alongside children.
Our students are exceptionally talented and dedicated and shine individually as much as they do working as one.
Joining The ‘Centre-Stage’ Family
We are proud of our family feel, the students at Centre Stage help lift each other and provide a great support network across all of our academies. This is why our students rarely leave and when they do grow up they always come back to help out or give some great advice to our younger students.
Centre Stage has provided FREE workshops to well over 40,000 young people since we opened, visiting schools across the South East!
Centre Stage has one aim, to provide as many young people with a creative outlet where they can explore, experiment, grow and learn together. You might want to be a professional when you get older, you might just want to make new friends, whatever you want Centre Stage is the place to discover who you are!
When becoming a performer you will come up against many challenges but we aim to provide a safe environment where we, as professionals, can nurture you and your talent.
We believe in individuality and becoming confident enough to express yourself.

“What an amazing performance, I was on the edge of my seat the whole time; I love love loved it. The standard was exceptional and the whole cast had the audience in the palm of their hands the whole time. I laugh, cried and had Goosebumps from the very first moment the curtains opened.”
– Gemma O’Brien, Audience Member.
