The Friends of Centre Stage

Friends Of Centre Stage (FOCS) is one of our proudest achievements. It was established in 2016 by a group of parents with the intention of raising funds to increase the opportunities offered to young people in performing arts.

Since then, we have raised many thousands of pounds – all of which has been reinvested into ALL the students at Centre Stage through our productions, showcases and workshops. We have been able to offer reduced fees, bursary spaces and higher quality performances to 1000’s of young people in this time.

We’re keen to continue to raise funds to enhance the work of the Centre Stage Family and help give even more children the chance to shine.

We plan to hold lots of events throughout the year at our academies and within the local community, you can see our Jan-Apr 2025 Newsletter here.

If you would like more information about how our funding is used or to you would like to help in any way please contact us via email at friends@centrestagetheatreacademy.com.

Without The Friends of Centre Stage as a part time working, single mum. My daughter would not have been able to benefit from such a fantastic holiday club, this also meant mum could work and not have to take unpaid leave during the break. Thank you so much.

As a single parent being offered a fully funded place was a blessing and I was able to tell my child that she could go to a programme she had her heart set on. I will be eternally grateful to Centre Stage for that week and all the encouragement and support they have given my daughter

My son attended Centre Stage in the summer holidays. He was able to attend for a full week thanks to the help of the funding FOCCS provided. Albert absolutely loved the week and I saw a huge change in him, he enjoyed it so much that he has now joined Centre Stage and attends every Saturday. He has really come out his shell and is so much more confident. He looks forward to attending his drama club.

The week he attended also helped me as his mum. I had to work and the hours they had him made a massive difference and the fact he wasn’t just stuck at home on his iPad or watching TV was amazing. Many Thanks.
